Feral camels in Australia
One million marauding camels and counting
Edit
Australia has at least one million one-humped camels roaming wild in our central deserts. This animal is not native to Australia and we want to see it removed. The Government has recently budgeted $19m for this to happen and I am told that this money will be matched by the affected States.
There is a big push to aerial cull these camels. Lots of talk of capturing them and selling them but its been spoken about for 30 years, its all a load of waffle. Even eat them !!
Here is an invitation to all of your wonderful camel lovers out there, please come and get them yourselves, pay the aboriginal people to capture them and pay for the trucking costs and whatever else you have to pay to take these animals back home and you can have the lot of them.
